Hello and welcome to the trailer podcast for What to Expect When You're Arrested. My name is Sean Henricksen and I'm a criminal defense attorney in San Antonio and I help good people like you avoid the devastating consequences of criminal charges. I'm bringing this new podcast to you because I think it fills a need that people charged with a crime or people who are curious need. There was a time when I was in my early 20s when I was arrested. I was arrested for DWI and I didn't have any idea about what was going on with my case, about what to expect at my first court date, or anything else regarding my case. I'm bringing you this podcast so that you don't have to go through the same thing that I went through.
I am an attorney in San Antonio, so what I'm going to focus on is the process for people here in San Antonio. If you've been arrested somewhere else, whether it's in Texas or another part of the country, I still think this information will be helpful to you even though some of the specifics of the process will be a little different for you.
Each episode, we're going to focus on a different part of the process of your case going through the court system or I'll be answering questions that I frequently get from clients. We'll have an episode on what to expect on your first court date, what an offer is, and how to clean up your record once your case is over if you're able to.
